The new map
On an island off the coast of Northern Europe
[15/11/2024] It has all of Costock5 plus:
- Hills
- Cities

- POI placement and spacing
- Overall look and feel

Costock is a small DayZ map
It's based on rural Leicestershire, UK
[27/03/2024] It has:
- Five village/towns
- Many smaller homestead POIs
- A military hospital
- Two summer camps
- A stone circle and old barrow
- The country club
- Several small farms
- 'Collaborator' houses
- Some minor clothing retexturing
- Many military POIs
- A very large airfield with a racetrack
The lore surrounding the map is based after we lost the cold war. In-game, this is played out in frequent (but short lived) gas attacks, roadblocks and military installations in varying states of construction.

The current size is 5km x 5km - small. It's developed to the edges because it's part of a larger map that remains in development.
I'm currently [March 2024] running a 20 slot server from a UK datacentre. Restarts 6 and 12 GMT Expansion (Buses, Land Rover) could be provided although this does mess with the CE a bit. Hosting by others is encouraged.
Content potential:
- 2-6hrs exploration
- If you find any dreadful clipping, I'll fix it and add your suggested details
- Attempt the lap record and appear on the leaderboard. Cheap and easy - meet, admin a car, do ur lap. Done properly - build a car, do ur lap. This ought to have a prize.
- The size and pacing of POIs suggests good PvP This is untested, the gas frequency will promote movement.
tldr; Small, scruffy UKish map made by man in shed. Looks nice, feels good, plays well. Comment from creator "It's just a map".
